In a major step ahead for private air mobility, San Mateo-based flying automotive firm Alef Aeronautics lately introduced that its “Mannequin A” car has obtained a Particular Airworthiness Certificates from the FAA. Whereas the “Particular” certificates limits the areas and functions for which the Mannequin A can fly, that is the primary time a car on this class has obtained authorized approval for flight. Of their press launch, Jim Dukhovny, the CEO of Alef, mentioned, “We’re excited to obtain this certification from the FAA.
